Childbirth Education

Evidence-based classes to prepare you and your partner for birth.

Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools you can bring into your birth experience. My childbirth education sessions are designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident as you approach labor, birth, and the postpartum period. Together, we'll cover understanding what labor and birth really involve, comfort measures and coping techniques, medical procedures and interventions, and partner preparation and birth planning. My goal isn't to tell you how to give birth — it's to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make the decisions that feel right for you and your family.

How I support you through birth

From pregnancy through postpartum, my care is centered on helping you feel informed, nurtured, and never alone. Every service is offered with a calm presence, gentle guidance, and support that meets you where you are.

Personalized Care

Every family’s journey is different. I take time to understand your needs, preferences, questions, and comfort level so your care feels personal, intentional, and supportive.

Gentle Guidance

Whether you are preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, or seeking extra support at home, I offer calm, practical guidance to help you feel more confident and cared for.

Support You Can Feel

My goal is to create a safe and steady space where you feel heard, supported, and held through each step of your journey.

Frequently asked questions

  • When will you be available to me during labor?

I'm on call for you starting at 36 weeks of pregnancy. Once you're in active labor, I'll join you — at home or at the hospital — and stay with you through the delivery.

  • Do you support all types of birth plans?

Absolutely. I support all birth choices — unmedicated, medicated, planned C-sections, and everything in between. My role is to support your vision, not direct it.

  • How many prenatal visits are included?

Birth doula support includes 2–3 prenatal visits so we can build a relationship, develop your birth plan together, and make sure you feel fully prepared going into labor.

  • What if my birth plan changes during labor?

Birth rarely goes exactly as planned — and that's okay. I'm here to help you navigate any changes with calm and confidence, so you still feel supported no matter how your birth unfolds.
