(ABOUT ME)

Compassionate doula care, rooted in presence and personalized support

I am a Mexican-American birth and postpartum doula who believes that care is both ancestral and deeply personal. My work is rooted in the understanding that birth is not only a medical event, but a sacred transition that deserves tenderness, protection, and respect.

Growing up with strong Mexican cultural values, I learned early what it means to care for others with intention—through food, presence, intuition, and community. In my family, support wasn’t just spoken, it was lived. It showed up in shared meals, in women gathering together after birth, in stories passed down, and in the quiet strength of simply being there when someone needs you most.

That foundation blends beautifully with a Southern-inspired sense of hospitality I’ve embraced in my care style—where everyone is welcomed, nourished, and made to feel at home. For me, support means more than providing information or physical help. It means creating a space where families feel safe enough to rest, ask questions, feel emotions fully, and be held without judgment.

As a doula, I bring a grounded, calm, and intuitive presence into the birth and postpartum space. I support families through pregnancy, labor, and recovery with a balance of evidence-based care and culturally rooted nurturing practices. Whether I’m helping a parent through labor, preparing a warm meal during postpartum recovery, or guiding a Closing of the Bones ceremony, my intention is always the same: to honor the body, the baby, and the transformation happening within the family.

I deeply believe that every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and cared for in ways that reflect who they are. My work is guided by compassion, cultural respect, and a commitment to making the postpartum experience softer, more supported, and less isolating.

This is more than a profession for me—it is a calling rooted in lineage, love, and service.

Frequently asked questions

  • What does a birth doula do?

A birth doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. I help you feel prepared, grounded, and cared for while honoring your preferences and supporting the birth experience that feels right for you.

  • When should I book doula support?

It is best to reach out during pregnancy so we have time to connect, discuss your needs, and prepare together. Availability can be limited around your estimated due date, so booking earlier is encouraged. However, you are always welcome to inquire at any stage of your journey.

  • What can I expect from postpartum care?

Postpartum support is shaped around your family’s needs. Care may include emotional support, newborn care guidance, light household help, rest support, recovery-focused care, and a steady presence as you adjust to life with your baby.

  • Can I book individual services without a doula package?

Yes. Services such as prenatal education, placenta encapsulation, belly binding, and closing of the bones may be booked individually. We can also discuss combining services to create a personalized care plan.

  • How do I get started?

Begin by booking a free consultation. We will talk through your needs, answer your questions, and explore the services that feel most supportive for you and your family.
